this was great, and if you were raised in a home where it was the parents needs that primarily mattered, rather than the kids, you would likely find it helpful a lot of it dealt with covert and subtle forms of narcissism though, and i feel like it would be more useful for me to read about kids who were more intentionally sabotaged by jealous, vindictive parents

wait till you get to the place where you no longer see them as weapons, but as reflections of your own wounds ready for healing. then they are not attacks but gifts of clarity and release that is when the universe really lets you in on the great cosmic joke
