So does simply clicking the link allow for a transaction approval? I guess I thought you would still have to sign a transaction.

Yeah you need to sign. But the signature is non trivially decided. It's just 0x something

Good. That makes me feel a bit better. So you’d click the link and it’d take you to a page where you’d click to initiate a transaction. Your wallet would then ask for a signature, which in the data just shows a hash? Thanks for the education. Want to TRY to be safe, but it’s approaching not worth it.
