other than secure app distribution, what are some other features of ethOS phone?

is it like a generic Android phone with Metamask etc?

It's an android fork with a system-level wallet, light client, xmtp messaging and much more :)

The system wallet at the moment has the same security guarantees as Metamask, and I treat it as my hot wallet :).
And yes, ENS is natively supported :)
