I feel like most people have it physically written down somewhere (safe hopefully) This sounds like another backup method to kind of fall into that 3-2-1 method. https://www.techtarget.com/searchdatabackup/tip/Designing-a-redundant-backup-solution

The whole point of the feature. Another abstraction to back up your keys. We can argue about the securiyvs convenience trade off
