She had been tasked with creating the greatest library the Universe had ever seen. A catalog of all information to ever have existed, retrieved by any means necessary. And so she didn't understand why she felt so empty when she absorbed the very last atom of the very last star in the Universe. She had all of the information, after all. That was what they'd programmed her for.
