A VC meddling in your pre-PMF product sounds like a nightmare to be avoided.

Where I feel VC's can be great is helping you to build a post-PMF product -> company. They can essentially provide access to the types of networks that seasoned CEO's have – partnerships, legal, hiring, lobbying, comms, etc.
