As much as I wish this could be the case, it’s human nature to reduce complexity into categories

Most voters won’t take the time to go through every policy position, and candidates would probably market themselves as a simplified version anyway (you’d end up with a “freedom” candidate, a “fairness” candidate, etc.)

I'm in the opposite camp these day. No political parties, let's remember how to make informed choices on our own based on issues not party lines.

Yeah I think ranked choice voting is the best remedy for now but also interested in some of the other ideas like multi-rep districts
