To be eligible for First Draft Club's January’s $500 prize pool, members must share new, original writing in /firstdraft at least 3 of the 4 weeks this month.

Weeks end on Sundays: January 5, 12, 19, and 26.

There’s no topic, length, or format requirement—your writing can be a @paragraph post, a screenshot of your Apple Notes, or even just a long cast.

It also doesn't need to be "finished"! The point of @firstdraftclub is just showing up and sharing something :)

The only requirement is posting in /firstdraft by Sunday to count for the week. New members can join anytime but must meet the 3-week threshold in January to qualify.

The core mechanic of /firstdraft is staying the same: subscribe for $25/mo, and earn $5 back each week you write.

Now, when you don’t write for a week, that $5 goes into the next month’s prize pool.
