Need to develop a thick skin to last as an artist. Criticism, derision, jealousy, whatever it is, your exposure to it will always be proportional to your notoriety. Positive spin - it’s a good way to measure your progress. 🏴

I think most artists struggle with silence more than anything. Criticism and jealousy are positive indicators compared to no one saying anything at all. 

Not all attention is good attention, but it sure beats being ignored.
