What do you think is missing from Farcaster? Over the last few weeks in the trenches, I’ve spent a lot more time on X hunting for alpha. It’s made me realize that Warpcast is lacking some of the deep dive alpha and crypto knowledge that you would expect to find here. So, in that spirit of that thought - what do you think is missing from Farcaster?

I think if it’s trenches, then there’s more bang for buck growing on twittter. Example being the aforementioned lack of virtuals discussion here outside of your channels/gc Think it’s part and parcel to a combo of more builders who aren’t threaders and deep divers and the conversation spreads beyond crypto which helps. Do this a best of FC each week for trading arena knowledge would be nice. Think it’s also a factor if he trading opportunities being so high right now, many folks don’t want to take time to provide alpha.

We’re just missing more crypto people here X is obviously 10x filled with more people, the alpha will be seen everywhere They’re here, but we’re very few compared. When the audience comes, we’ll realize it

The only thing that's kinda missing is the variety of coins/ecosystems we're being exposed to. It's pretty much just base centered on here (which kinda makes sense though). But during my times on X I frequently interacted with a lot of different communities on Cardano for example, which I completely lost track of since I switched to FC.

I just got on X like a month ago & my initial thought was wow, LOTS of people are talking crypto on here and they're taking crypto on a larger scale. Not just about one kind of token or one kind of network but everything. Not just about the token itself but how it plays a role in our economy or different economies around the world. I do think a big part is because there's a much bigger crypto community & more people on X. How would Farcaster look if we reached similar numbers? Probably never the same but more similar in terms of topics of conversation than not.

I think channels have the most potential for growth - being able to have token gated communities where you can take all of the conversation in the private chats out onto the feed would be awesome. Especially when the group is focused around something like the trenches

I think they have to simplify cross-posting or referencing discussions from X to Farcaster to encourage dual-platform engagement And Encouraging developers to create Farcaster-native tools for analysis and alpha generation🫡

Tools like better discovery algorithms, collaborative research threads, and incentivized knowledge-sharing could turn it into the go-to platform for deep dives and alpha hunters.

Farcaster has great potential, but it feels like it's missing a dedicated hub for real-time insights and actionable crypto alpha...... Perhaps features like curated expert discussions, live threads for trending projects could foster deeper engagement...... What do you think?
