Stop using the frame in the attached cast to determine if you’re a scammer. It’s likely not even accurate. While I’m at it, stop worrying about getting a spam label in the first place. If you’re not out here spamming people, you probably won’t end up with one. So stop worrying about it!

This issue also frequently comes up in Japanese channels. There are people who, despite having no real issues, end up with spam labels and feel sad about it. Well, let's move on from this topic. It’s better to focus on having enjoyable conversations.

@rish is talking about farcaster and he's right, hiding casts is not a farcaster thing. But warpcast has this endpoint to be able to distinguish hidden replies in the UI The frame is checking whether your replies are provided by the Warpcast hidden replies endpoint. So unless Warpcast provides false information it's totally accurate

mvr explained his frame specifically: it's querying Warpcast API for whether or not you're "below the fold" -- describing that as "Warpcast thinks you're a spammer" is too opinionated imo. It means what it is: you're below the fold. that's different from bot or not which is using ML to assess content habits. no doubt there are others that use different methods but use the same language, ie "spammer" anyone who agrees with what the frame SAYS should know how it WORKS imo, especially if it upsets you. Only then can you use the info to make worthwhile change.

It just checks if your have replies which are hidden in wc. You might have spammy casts (low engagement replies which are auto hidden) but there's no user level spam label afaik

I do not know why this is such a hot thread lately... just hoping that algorithms are mature enough to differentiate spam actions from normal friend/channel engagement. Everyone of us knows exactly what is doing.
