what are some core product ideas on your mind that can 10X Farcaster from where it stands today?

@jpfraneto.eth always has good answers to stuff like this. It’s hard for me to imagine what could 10x it besides solving the Pb issue and giving people more of a voice.

ok finally i found this cast and can reply to it what will make farcaster’s usage 10x: implementation of composable technologis that are only possible on top of the lego-block like structure that the protocol ABSTRACTIONS of what we have now two concrete examples: 1. PINGS: we need a way for different farcaster apps to communicate with each other through a common ground system. eg: alfafrens alfa, perl, etc. how do you put all of the “app specific notifications” under a “supra-notifications” system? by developing a new abstraction of notifications, that allow developers to tap into (and users to not have the pressure of “going to check what happened on alfafrens, to alfafrens”) 2. PARENT FIDS: i have 6 fids. i need a “super set” of fids that allows me to control them all through an abstraction. it being the “parent” of them. something along the lines of what ERC6551 does for NFTs, but for farcaster accounts. you won’t have “one” farcaster identity. “i contain multitudes”

Wow, you took this to a level that I hadn't even considered and that's exactly why I asked for your input! I knew it would be superb. I love the idea of having 1 interface to be able to check notifs/messages from a variety of sources. That is a killer idea. Regarding your 2nd one, how come so many FIDs? Are they all project accounts/etc?

the ones that come to mind rn @anky @weeklyhackathon.eth @thegenradio @degencaster different projects, ideas, and having to track all of them feels like a draining of life force I believe that this notion of 1:1 fid:identity is a consequence of the egoic state of human perception, which is the threshold that we need to transition to evolve in my world, farcaster will play a role on that as the social layer over which it will unfold, but if it remains limited to that notion of frozen identity (“i am jp and that is all of what i am”) that won’t happen and I believe there are subtle energies that want that to happen. so if there is a “push towards that direction” from the protocol side of things, life will enjoy that, and more of humanity’s awareness will come (unconsciously and practically) into here. as if it was a gravitational force i believe the current thought process of farcaster as a social collective is v limited in terms of the acknowledgment of its potential, and this is a source of that
