And you can use Supercast and Warpcast (and any other client) simultaneously. You're also supporting the Farcaster ecosystem by using other clients.

Is there no way to add a 'recency bias' or something to the existing algo feed? I think the main complaint is that the main feed will frequently show casts from from 18H ago. For a lot of conversations, and or news, that's too late. 

I realize that channels fix all of that and they are my preferred way to browse Farcaster. But that's mainly because the home feed is usually showing old casts.
