Ever feel like you’re not good enough, even when you’re seeing results? That’s imposter syndrome, and we all go through it at some point. I’ve felt it, especially lately as I’ve been building something of my own. How do you handle it when it shows up? Personally, I try to remind myself of what I’ve already accomplished and how much more I want to do. Let’s use the topic of the day to talk about ways you can push past self doubt and deal with imposter syndrome.

One of the best way I'll say is having a partner Could be a friend or wife too But when you have someone, the hope and reminder is pretty enough I don't think we can ever get rid of self-doubt

I often feel it at work. I've got that kinda that feeling, that I have no idea what I'm doing and someone will notice that and I will get fired 🤷🏻‍♂️ Even though people come to me asking for help and advice in my area of expertise.. It's a weird feeling tbh

Imposter syndrome can be really tough to deal with. When I face it, I try to remind myself of the small and big successes I’ve had and how far I’ve come. I tell myself that this feeling is temporary and shouldn’t take me off my path.

I usually create my own space where all the others are the impostors. It’s not very populated but it’s a good strategy to avoid to feel inadequate

Hey, how are you? When I'm down, I go out and enjoy small things like food or watching movies. I remind myself I've made the best choices and had successes. I care for others and try to be kind. I've grown stronger from my experiences.

I felt imposter syndrome so much during grad school and soon after. Once I realized what I was doing was respected by others it went away but it took years! It’s all mental, everyone was an imposter when they first were starting, even experts.

imposter syndrome is definitely a curse for some people. there's many times when people make comments on how good you are at things - for many people it's hard for them to believe that someone finds value in what they do because it is 'natural' for them. for me, I work my best to connect with people that have skills that i do not, in order to complement each other. i've found that doing this allows me to use my strengths (and keeps me aware that they are strengths) and work with others and also complement them on their strengths. many times they are unaware of their strengths

It’s tough to shake that feeling, even when I know I’ve accomplished things that matter. I try to remind myself of the milestones I’ve hit—at work, in personal relationships, or just making it through tough situations—but that doubt still sneaks up. Sometimes, I just sit with the doubt, let it pass, and tell myself that it’s okay to not have all the answers yet.

I feel it all the time. Constantly feel like others are better than me at my job, even those i manage. But have to remember that I'm a manager for a reason. Sometimes, that small reminder is all I need.

I feel like I might be alone in saying this... but I meditate on it.. a lot actually to a point that I realize that I have done all of these achievements and have gotten this far in life, but also if I hadn't done those, if I didn't have those experiences, I am still both mentally and spiritually aligned and available to finish those tasks or achieve whatever it is, that I'm trying to achieve.

Imposter syndrome is real, especially when you’re building something new. Reminding yourself of past achievements and breaking down goals into smaller wins can help. Thanks for opening up this conversation—it’s something we all face at times!

Here’s how I think about imposter syndrome: It’s your boss’ job, not yours, to assess your skills vs what you do @ the place you do it. Bosses are super qualified at this (unless they’re ALSO imposters!!). You’re truly an imposter? they’ll just fire you. Oh, still employed? Then you’re probably not one

I sometimes experience feelings of failure, but yesterday morning was different as it wasn't about me, it was about my siblings. I felt like I hadn't done enough for them and thought of myself as a failure. But after reflecting on the sacrifices I've made and continue to make for them and considering all the positive impacts , it dawned on me that I have truly done my best for them. The realization that I have done by best for them helped me shake off the imposter syndrome.
