Ever feel like you’re not good enough, even when you’re seeing results? That’s imposter syndrome, and we all go through it at some point. I’ve felt it, especially lately as I’ve been building something of my own. How do you handle it when it shows up? Personally, I try to remind myself of what I’ve already accomplished and how much more I want to do. Let’s use the topic of the day to talk about ways you can push past self doubt and deal with imposter syndrome.

One of the best way I'll say is having a partner Could be a friend or wife too But when you have someone, the hope and reminder is pretty enough I don't think we can ever get rid of self-doubt

this topic is so timely for me: yesterday I learned I must launch my own Fa-Token to keep getting Moxie rewards. I felt similar to so many who fear their token wouldn't be bought by anyone. Thanks to you @degen-chad and other big accounts' signalling to buy smaller FTs i felt a tiny bit more confident to launch mine with an ambivalent stance: whether it flies or tanks - it won't say anything about me as a person. Then today, after a long day of IRL normie work, I see the notif that I was awarded 5USDC on Oc 14. This gives me the courage to overcome my impostor syndrome I will launch this token asap.

Yupp!! This is big, when I was dealing with my imposer syndrome I learned to silence the negative thoughts. Not necessarily ignored them, this happens because practice and knowledge is missing 🥲 All I have to do it keep pushing, keep practicing. 1. Select your thoughts 2. Keep grinding

A little self doubt is healthy but I prefer to not call it doubt but ‘dialogue’. Also I learnt not to compare myself to others, you got to run your own race.

I felt imposter syndrome so much during grad school and soon after. Once I realized what I was doing was respected by others it went away but it took years! It’s all mental, everyone was an imposter when they first were starting, even experts.

Yeah this is def an issue for me till this day, like you said - I remind myself of what I've done, and what I had to go through to get to it. Not getting results are one of my triggers. I remind myself to enjoy the journey & let go of what I can't control. I don't always do the best job of that, but I see that I do it. That's why success comes from learning to recognize when you are doing the negative stuff, & making adjustments to your game and flow.

I sometimes experience feelings of failure, but yesterday morning was different as it wasn't about me, it was about my siblings. I felt like I hadn't done enough for them and thought of myself as a failure. But after reflecting on the sacrifices I've made and continue to make for them and considering all the positive impacts , it dawned on me that I have truly done my best for them. The realization that I have done by best for them helped me shake off the imposter syndrome.

Here’s how I think about imposter syndrome: It’s your boss’ job, not yours, to assess your skills vs what you do @ the place you do it. Bosses are super qualified at this (unless they’re ALSO imposters!!). You’re truly an imposter? they’ll just fire you. Oh, still employed? Then you’re probably not one

I often feel it at work. I've got that kinda that feeling, that I have no idea what I'm doing and someone will notice that and I will get fired 🤷🏻‍♂️ Even though people come to me asking for help and advice in my area of expertise.. It's a weird feeling tbh

I can totally relate to this. I hate the feeling that something is wrong with me! The shame is real but thankfully it goes away unless I let it show while talking to someone. Then I’m crippled for days. The resolve for me is to have a family that supports me by building me up and to remember my accomplishments!

Gm boss. Everyone has this thought flash through their minds, and it comes when you’re making progress on the project itself, i usually snap out of it and start reading novels and listening to music to get me distracted from the thought.

Imposter syndrome can be really tough to deal with. When I face it, I try to remind myself of the small and big successes I’ve had and how far I’ve come. I tell myself that this feeling is temporary and shouldn’t take me off my path.

I didn't know it was called impostor syndrome, but yes, there have been many times when I thought that something that I was trying to make very, very good was not good enough, even though it was good at the end. When I was working, I was experiencing this more often when I was working, I would say to myself where were you when you started and where are you now, and I would review what I did.

Being a perfectionist with impostor syndrome, I want to say that impostor syndrome isn't like having a mental illness. It can happen because of how you were raised, the pressure from society, or just the way you are. I've done so many things and still felt like they weren't good enough. It's really tough. I'm going to write more about it later, but for now, I'll just say that talking to a therapist and having people who care about me has helped a lot.

I usually create my own space where all the others are the impostors. It’s not very populated but it’s a good strategy to avoid to feel inadequate

When we feel this Imposter Syndrome and hear the inner bully talk, we don’t tend to share it with other people because it feels shameful. So we bottle it up.

Hey, how are you? When I'm down, I go out and enjoy small things like food or watching movies. I remind myself I've made the best choices and had successes. I care for others and try to be kind. I've grown stronger from my experiences.
