Interesting perspective from Bitmex research on the impact of an ETH ETF on the economics of ETH. If a big financial institution like Blackrock create a simple ETH ETF (non staked) this will have an inflationary impact on ETH on the flip side if they create a staked ETH ETF we might encounter centralization issues.

What do you think will be the implications of a possible ETH ETF and re-staking on the economics of ETH? The ETH ETFs will lock ETH limiting the movement (burning) and a similar thing could happen with restaking and staked ETH. Will this potentially lead to a significant increase in emission of ETH?
