Here in Spain it is very typical in summer to get into very calm areas of rivers, pools or natural swimming pools, but I don't even put my foot in them!
Because I'm a very cold person and those waters, even in the middle of summer, are still freezing cold for me, no matter how many people enjoy splashing around, I must have an ultra-sensitive nervous system to the temperature 😅
Even in the Mediterranean Sea, which is really ‘soupy’ as they say here when it's very hot, I get tingles of freshness when I get to the sensitive area 😆
However, I was shocked on the trip we made to Cambodia, in some waterfalls where you could swim and even dive, the water came down hot!! so tropical is the climate there that the rivers are warm.
My brain took a while to process it, but in the end it carried out my orders, that is why you can see that tiny character in the background of the photo I am leaving you... it is me celebrating my feat! 😂 6 replies
