Don't Nod announced staff cuts due to financial difficulties - up to a quarter of employees can be fired
At the end of September, the company published a financial report for the first half of the year, in which it reported, in particular, that, despite high estimates, sales of Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden and Jusant were lower than expected. This led to losses for the studio as well as the cancellation of two unannounced projects.
In a recent interview with IGN, the head of Don't Nod, Oscar Gilbert, said that the measures taken by the studio since spring to correct its situation no longer seem sufficient for it to maintain its competitiveness.
"As a result, today we presented our employees with a company reorganization project that can take Don't Nod to a new development trajectory," Gilbert added.
According to IGN, the reorganization could result in a reduction of up to 69 employees. At the moment, the studio staff consists of about 320 people. 0 reply
