🚨πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡Ί EU citizens/EU ReplyGuys, today marks a very important day, the last day to become active and avoid a dystopia. The EU Council plans to secretly green light to have bulk Chat Control searches of all of our private communications by EU governments going forward. It will enable your government to surveil your communication on WhatsApp etc 24/7 and identify critics etc - basically China 2.0‼️ They hope you won’t pay attention due to the recent elections and the EU Championships. Now is the last day to act and avoid it. The good news is that many EU governments have not yet decided whether to go along with this final draft. Contact your government and tell it to vote against Chat Control on Wednesday, 19 June (find contact details in the link and let ChatGPT etc write a complaint letter, takes 5 min.) Ring the alarm bells online. 🚨 https://www.patrick-breyer.de/en/council-to-greenlight-chat-control-take-action-now/

That’s mostly the work of some EU parliament members, the Council tries to make it hidden. The dystopic chat control is lobbied by several strange NGOs that even bought Ashton Kutcher for support, very strange overall!

yeah it's extremely worrying, they'll put it down to AI safety most likely. in my country they are bringing in similar changes to these but we all know the technology has enable these privacy destroying tools for sometime anyway the lobbying is the final touch to make ppl think it's their own decision
