Eunomia was the goddess of order and legal behavior. He was associated with the internal stability of a state, including the establishment of good laws and the maintenance of civil order. She was also the goddess of green meadows in springtime. Eunomia was one of the Horai, the goddess of the seasons and guardians of the gates of heaven. She was often depicted in Athenian paintings among the companions of Aphrodite, and in this sense she represented the lawful or submissive behavior of women in marriage.
