the serbian passport is actually quite ok! i dont need a visa to enter schengen countries and serbia is good at not pissing of both first and second world countries so most places id want to go to dont require a visa at all!

Passports and visas are practical way of enforcing country's border policy - ie. who can get in and in what numbers. If you say that passports and visas are scam, then logically countries, taxes etc. are scams too. Majority of citizens in these (well-functioning) countries would probably disagree with you here.

Kinda agree about visa, but passport is necessary. It is essential for safety of the society to know the id of the people who pass through borders.

Also, we are in 2024 and you need a little book to be stamped? Best not to lose it otherwise you can't go back home (as a non immigrant living in the US losing my passport with my Visa inside could also mean losing my job)
