tiniest of tips: if you're rendering counters in a ui, use <number>.toLocaleString() and get those commas for free.

And it’s based on the user locale. If you switch to a french locale, it would be “1 337” And you can use that to format unit, percent and currencies ! All that, depending of the user locale.
