What is the best resource going deep into what parts of history were “predetermined” (IOW, had an obvious “adjacent possible” for the taking) vs. what parts were relatively unlikely or a product of luck ?

Highly recommend trying Polars (https://docs.pola.rs) if you haven't. The APIs are very thoughtfully designed. May not be suitable for your use case if you need GPU acceleration though (https://pola.rs/posts/polars-on-gpu).

Serious question: Do you know anybody “cool” who is anti-crypto? People who are charismatic, culturally with it, sociable, laid back, fun to be around? Or - hear me out - are anti-crypto people always uncool? I think the personality trait that makes you anti-crypto also makes you uncool.
