given that an AI rogue agent would know all permutations could it be stopped?

I believe that it could, here’s how:

The AI needs humans to enact its will since it’s digital trying to capture an analogue world 

As a result it is unable to set up moves for every given permutation because there simply aren’t enough ppl and situations  for that… all it could do is set up the situations given the most probably outcomes… humans being dumb and lucky and large in number could run through all situations where there is a very small chance of luck (1% chances) and eventually hit lucky on a few in a row, where those few in a row results in the end for the AI
