challenge of 10X. what is it? mobile created opportunities for new players to disrupt the incumbents (e.g. instagram vs fb/flickr) 10X'ing them has since become 100X harder. think of an idea- there's an app for that. still possible, but we do need twists that can '10X.' otherwise it's doa. that's what's hard.

In this competitive and saturated market, it might be better to focus on unmet user needs and start with niche markets where competition is lower. After building a strong brand, you can then expand your activities further
