Why do I have to connect to both FC and a Wallet? Can't you just pick up the wallet from FC? I am always having issues connecting wallets :(

Hello! I've tried to connect my Ledger based Ethereum wallet both via mobile and desktop (email link), but I just fails directly like below, after I click confirm in Metamask (on desktop). It doesn't pop up in my Ledger.
