Thank you. In summary, an extremely close approximation of Pi is encoded in the first verse of the Hebrew Torah. My hypothesis came from Egyptian sources and Moses is traditionally considered the author of the Torah and he led the Hebrew slaves out of captivity there.

I'm not well-familiar with the prediction markets. I think it would depend on the application. It would either need to be at the discretion of the holder or predetermined as part of the contract. I said holder because the predictor could be staked by selling his hashes

One benefit to this: Eliminates the feedback loop between predictions input and outcomes. This is probably overlooked, but predictions certainly influence outcomes, especially in multitudes.

Well let's be honest, for sure. Conferences are attended for various reasons as well so I don't equate. It is an interesting proposition and the current climate has bred frustration with many so I think it is to be expected.
