great improvements! some of the syncing are slow, hope can be sped up additional ideas 1. peer review - weighted scoring component for peer reviews from verified builders 2. project impact metrics - consider complexity and innovation level of contributions 3. cross-chain activity recognition 4. governance participation score

I hear no mention of Goodhart’s law. “When a measure becomes a target it no longer is a good form of measurement” This is a fundamental piece of the puzzle Talent will need to deal with. Your ways of measuring need to evolve over time and become more advanced if you don’t want people to game the system.

Actually I prefer it to have some kind of feed or an “ongoing projects” part that is updated by the owner of the profile to showcase what they are working on at the moment, just like in the good old beta days of talent protocol. It was a source of motivation (at least for me) finish the task at hand.

i have gone through the blog post and i must commend the efforts of the teams. i've got some thoughts that might make it even cooler (and honestly, more useful for real builders). it can be more fun if there is something like achievement. if someone pulls off something epic, let's say saving a protocol from a nasty bug or shipping something game-changing, that should be a BIG deal in their score. you can also look beyond coding. not everyone's building the next uniswap, right? some of the most valuable people I know in web3 are the ones who help others figure out tough problems, write killer explanations of complex protocols, share their fails so others don't repeat them. the cheating aspect, instead of blocking people trying to game it, why not make it more like "Builder Streaks" when someone's consistently shipping good stuff.

What Could Be Improved? Scoring Transparency – Clarify how points are calculated. An interactive dashboard could help builders optimize their score. Recognizing Real Impact – Differentiate between passive engagement and meaningful contributions to better reflect value creation. Incentive Alignment – Ensure rewards promote long-term contributions rather than short-term activity. Governance & Staking – Factor in governance participation, such as: - Staked tokens over time (X tokens staked for Y days) - Voting activity in proposals - Delegation influence (if applicable) Community Feedback Loop – Allow builders to endorse contributions, adding qualitative input to the score.

In the new version, make it clear why we received Build rating points, and what else we can get for. For example, if I have Farcaster 2\26 points, I need to figure out how to get another 24 points, what exactly to do! This is what I think is very important

Hi, so here are my tips. 1. You know that Farcaster is enlarging, lets implement guided onboarding tooltips that show new users how to navigate on the platform. 2. We can also improve the feedback loop for users, show them what built their scores over the week and other things they can engage on to build their scores further. 3. Provide multiple leaderboards, e.g we can have ranking for smart contact devs, for content creators etc. 4. Introduce cross- category sections. e.g, a FE who creates a content can gain points for that. 5. Review of weekly performance as a cast to motivate users. These are just a few, I cant wait for V2 launch.
