Actually I prefer it to have some kind of feed or an “ongoing projects” part that is updated by the owner of the profile to showcase what they are working on at the moment, just like in the good old beta days of talent protocol. It was a source of motivation (at least for me) finish the task at hand.

great improvements! some of the syncing are slow, hope can be sped up additional ideas 1. peer review - weighted scoring component for peer reviews from verified builders 2. project impact metrics - consider complexity and innovation level of contributions 3. cross-chain activity recognition 4. governance participation score

Key enhancements include the new “Credibility” category, event-based tracking, and the “Human Checkmark” for verification. To improve: 1. Include Social Contributions – Recognize blogs, educational content, and engagement. 2. Real-Time Updates – Ensure scores reflect current contributions. 3. Community Feedback – Allow endorsements for qualitative insights. 4. Expand Beyond Dev Work – Acknowledge design, PM, and community roles. 5. Comparative Insights – Show how users rank among peers. These tweaks would make Builder Score more holistic and impactful.

I hear no mention of Goodhart’s law. “When a measure becomes a target it no longer is a good form of measurement” This is a fundamental piece of the puzzle Talent will need to deal with. Your ways of measuring need to evolve over time and become more advanced if you don’t want people to game the system.

Builder Score V2 is a solid step forward, but here are a few areas for improvement: • Score Normalization: Since there’s no cap, a relative ranking could help users gauge their standing. • Credential Weighting: Not all contributions are equal—weighting by impact could improve accuracy. • More Frequent Updates: Waiting 14 days for recalculations feels slow; real-time or faster updates would help. • Transparency: A breakdown of how each credential affects the score would build trust. • Off-Chain Contributions: Recognizing meaningful off-chain work could give a fuller picture. Overall, great progress—just a few tweaks could make it even better!

i have gone through the blog post and i must commend the efforts of the teams. i've got some thoughts that might make it even cooler (and honestly, more useful for real builders). it can be more fun if there is something like achievement. if someone pulls off something epic, let's say saving a protocol from a nasty bug or shipping something game-changing, that should be a BIG deal in their score. you can also look beyond coding. not everyone's building the next uniswap, right? some of the most valuable people I know in web3 are the ones who help others figure out tough problems, write killer explanations of complex protocols, share their fails so others don't repeat them. the cheating aspect, instead of blocking people trying to game it, why not make it more like "Builder Streaks" when someone's consistently shipping good stuff.
