I haven't followed this Titanic submarine story too much, but after scrolling Twitter and Facebook for a while it's striking how many people hate other human beings just because they're rich.

I think it’s ridiculous how many people care about a bunch of people who may have died doing something dangerous ￼when there are thousands of people in literally every town in America who need help. They are much easier to reach than people who are 3 miles underwater. ￼

Seems like it's kind of like people who die climbing the Himalayas - they get tons of attention because it's an interesting story but at the end of the day what they did was very risky
