has there been any public goods funding to further mod the Meta Quest?

I recall speculating on some "Applevision FE" back when it first revealed.

the most critical element is maximizing number of units for feedback. this is precisely how tesla runs away with self-driving. optimizing around the polish is just a luxury that would destroy any startup attempting it.

there'll be another version, at which point I'm very interested in what gets revealed.
