I'm curious, since IPFS hashes are what, a few dozen bytes?

could a phone just dump hundreds of CIDs to another phone in a second?

Its an interesting idea, however it would be the equivalent of transferring links. You would still need to retrieve the data from the CIDs.

yeah, I wasn't sure about the node specs for mobile. still, it could be an interesting way to succinctly set up a computer that's going to just settle for a gateway.
