Seeing Dune pt 2 tomorrow and I'm reminded of the last time I was at the Great Sand Dunes in Colorado. Hiked up in cheapo sandles that broke. Coming down the sun came out and the sand was scalding my feet so bad I had to descend the entire way scooting on my ass and elbows like a sick demented crab walk.
