Did you know that "pepe" is not the OG $Pepe? @pepecoins was the 2nd meme-coin to launch after dogecoin in 2016 and even built the first functional NFT marketplace way before opensea. Few know this because they got caught in 'The Great Memewar' of the '16 US election and had to rebrand. They are back since April '23

Are Stablecoins beneficial to the US? I'd say yes. Here are the pros and cons: Contra: - Fully-reserved banking (Modus Operandi for Issuers) is expensive for the Fed with a high Interest on Reserve Balances (IORB) - A Stablecoin Run - Systemic Risk. The Fed published a report in Sep '23 comparing Stablecoins to MMFs

While everybody gets excited about L3s (sending $DEGEN to the moon) and Base, we should keep the downsides of modularity in mind. If the trend continues, there might soon be 100+ arbitrage transactions on various ledgers whenever the ETH-USDC price moves on a major CEX.

Can you really classify Ethena's USDe as a stablecoin?? I like the concept and hold USDe personally. But I think of it as a sophisticated delta-neutral strategy financial instrument rather than a stablecoin... Retail should know what they sign up for...
