On this platform, his following continued to grow as he meticulously documented suppressed news, including human trafficking, lockdowns, protests, and tragic events like the Urumqi fire during COVID restrictions. His dedication reached a critical point during the White Paper protests against China’s stringent zero-COVID policies in late 2022. His account,

, became an essential information hub, attracting over a million followers and providing a lifeline for those silenced by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

However, with fame came significant danger. Li received death threats, his bank accounts were frozen, and his family faced relentless harassment. Chinese authorities intensified their efforts to silence him, viewing his work as a direct threat to their propaganda machine. Despite these threats, Li remained steadfast in his mission to amplify the voices silenced by the CCP.
