Yes and no. 

Ephemerality is good but it’s not currently a value implemented in the app or protocol. 

The app’s value are that of twitter bc it’s a copy cat in users eyes. No UI/UX indícates expiration.

However, as the app stands, most use farcaster like a mini blog for ideas and perpetuating conversations. See “thought leader” user profile. 

Prior web2 user behavior, suggest most want to keep the time stamp of ideas.

At the protocol level, this could be fixed by making the ephemerality more pronounced (1D or 1WK pruning).
