one of the most interesting cases of sovereignty to me is the Sovereign Military Order of Malta it's recognized as a non-state sovereign entity as it claims no territory of its own, though its headquarters in Rome do enjoy extraterritoriality. yet, SMOM maintains diplomatic relations with 113 UN member states
