- Hackers can send malware that is automatically downloaded if not disabled
- Affects both mobile and PC users
- To fix, you need to disable Auto-Load feature

Disable on Mobile (iPhone):

- Open Telegram 
- Select Settings in bottom right
- Select Data and Storage
- Select Using Cellular
- Uncheck Auto-Download Media
- Select Back
- Select using Wi-Fi
- Uncheck Auto-Download Media
- Select Back

Disable on PC:

- Open Telegram
- Select the menu in upper left
- Select Settings
- Select Advanced
- Locate the Automatic media download section
- Select In Private Chats
- Uncheck Photos & Files
- Select Save
- Repeat the process for In Groups & In Channels

Disable on mobile (Android):

- Open Telegram 
- Select Settings
- Select Data and Storage
- Uncheck Automatic Media Download when using mobile data
- Uncheck Automatic Media Download when connected to Wi-Fi
- Uncheck Automatic Media download when roaming
