lots of people asking this privately but no one asking publicly why is everyone so angry we don’t have any crypto apps and why did we abandon integrating or transferring existing apps to be onchain why the obsession with net new apps [i have my own answer but steelmanning is good thought experiment for us all]

Three questions here, none of which have question marks and could be rhetorical. I'm working on integrating with Base, but it's slow going mostly because a) I'm not a React developer and everything is React, b) the abstractions are leaky causing me to grok all the way down to the chain fundamentals c) I find even just understanding what people are saying so weird and confusing, e.g. your original questions. I'm 47 so there's some kind of techno cultural gap. Of everything it's this gap I find the hardest and the most off putting. It needs to stop being an underground subculture in-group to cross the chasm.
