Classic! Also super depressing, far more than his other works. Both The Hobbit and LOTR have happy endings, this one doesn’t. Loosely inspired by Kullervo from Kalevala, a very depressing epic work as well.

I’ve read almost everything from Tolkien, many works multiple times. Although, still have few to start, as they keep publishing new ones from time to time.
