The US government transferred 10,000 Bitcoins (~$963 million) to Coinbase. Many people are concerned that the US government is preparing to sell these Bitcoins. However, besides that possibility, there is also the possibility that they transferred them to Coinbase for storage. In July 2024, the US Marshals Service chose Coinbase to store their assets.
