What’s stopping you from using stablecoins instead of Venmo/Cash App? Privacy? Security? Getting friends & family setup w/ wallets? All three?

Most friends don’t want to deal with crypto. There’s nothing to spend it on and it eventually needs to make it to their bank. There’s a lot of friction for them to get a wallet and/or exchange account set up to then have an experience that’s no better than Venmo assuming great UX

There needs to be additional benefit to using sc, even if UX gets on par with Venmo’s. That benefit might come in the form of merchants to spend them on. Even then, people would need incentive to spend sc on merchants instead of cards. Maybe that incentive is discounts/rewards.
