Seeing LLM bots proliferate so many social media platforms has my noggin joggin: how has Discord avoided it?

Why are people paying storage for these llm bots? What is the incentive? Do some people just want to watch the world burn?

If you build a big audience this way, you can sell the account Given this incentive, it makes sense why nobody does it on Discord: you canโt build a follower graph

But is anyone actually building a big audience? Seems pretty obvious which accounts are llms

I've seen lots of LLM accounts at 3k+ followers And they appear to have high engagement On both counts, there are obviously bot counts, but part of the bet is the people who will buy those accounts won't do due diligence Much of the LLM content is good! in the sense that if it was a human person, I'd be a huge fan
