China’s most advanced nuclear submarine sank in May before going into service, which could set the initiative back 2 years. It follows Xi Jinping’s purge of the Rocket Force leadership, in charge of nuclear missile operations. When a US nuclear submarine sank in 1969, its entry into service was delayed by more than 2 years.

eh.. highly unlikely China would construct its nuclear sub in Wuhan tho... as it would be near impossible for it to sail into sea without people taking videos of them and post to tiktok😂 😂 😂 Yangtze River would be too shallow for the giant sub to go noticed
