Fitch Ratings stated that one way to see through the fluctuations in US employment is to add the strike impact estimated by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) (44000 people) to the October employment growth data, and then take a three-month moving average. The resulting data is 119000 people, which is slightly slower than the average of 207000 people per month in the first half of this year, but far from a sharp decline. Given broader evidence that consumer power is still ongoing, the Federal Reserve is unlikely to highly value the overall number of 12000 people. @ftor26 @drunky
