Hint 2: The cipher is a gold-bug cipher, as hinted by the nevermore and museum references, among others. For ease of copy pasting: ]6[5(†) 3‡0†8* 3598 26(† †63) *8; -45‡;6-500: And the answer to the above is (7) letters long.

Hint 1: The screen can be decoded into a second puzzle. The "nevermore" author might help with that.

🧩 I recently came across an abandoned computer in an old Baltimore Musuem. I tried accessing it but it seems to have some sort of bug that wont let me past a lock screen. It looks like it requires a 7 character passcode. I'll give 2500 degen to the first person who can help me figure out the password. Thanks in advance!

Congrats to @chado on the solve! Solution: The first hint sentence mentions it’s “somewhere in here” and you can find the city here. Co LÓNDON ’t. Next it mentions, Oz, Kansas, not as colorful and following. Those hinted at the yellow brick road but without the color. BRICK ROAD. As mentioned, doing a quick google search will reveal Brick Lane in London. Using google maps, you could find the street and snap screenshot of the relevant area.

🧩 Time for another round of Static Geo Guesser! Find the location below. Everything you need can be found in the following sentences: It’s around here somewhere but it’s not in Colón, don’t bother looking there. It’s not as colorful as Oz but this definitely isn’t in Kansas either - following this line of thinking should get you close enough with a Google search. First to name and post a street view image from *generally* the same location wins 1500 degen.

Congrats @lolclark! Solution: If you go the location in the original image posted and view past dates, you'll see a photo live view from 2 years ago in June where a NISSAN MAXIMA is parked next to the sign. Told you, nice and easy.

🧩 I visited here two years ago, in the summer i think. I remember parking my rental car right next to this sign but for the life of me, I can't remember what kind of car it was. 🤦 I'll gladly tip someone 1000 degen if they can help me remember what kind of car it was. (nice easy one for a Friday!)

First hint: Four and For are homophones. What else might be? The puzzle can be solved without solving the middle cryptic. (It’s really just a distraction)

Forgot to post the full solve on this one. Solution: There are 26 columns across and 26 rows down. Each blank space represents an A-Z character. Counting down, the blank in the first column is 4 rows down and can be represented by the letter D. The second column blank is 5 rows down and can be represented by the letter E. Working your way across, you end up with the following: DEVOUR MOST OF A GOBLINS EDIBLE. On the answer entry page, you see the answer is six letters. Thinking like a cryptic crossword, "devour" is the definition and "most of" is the wordplay tell you to take away most of the letters from the next words. Removing LINS EDI leaves you will GOBBLE, which is the answer and another word for devour.

Final hint: There are 26 columns. Each column represents a letter. Combined they form a cryptic crossword clue. The first word of the phrase can be defined by a word found by eliminating parts of the final two words. Good luck!
