I am learning how to become a good protocol Engineer. I want to be part of the people who scale Ethereum. On top of that we get to contribute to different and amazing open source projects. I am so excited see where I will be at the end of this. On this specific lesson we learned about consensus in ethereum. Did you know that hashtag#Decentralization is not a key essential properties of blockchain. People would disagree on the essential properties. The major ones re Censor resistant, live and safe and probably verifiable. We also learned about Full nodes, full state, history (Verifiability, Safety) Miners, Builders, Sequencers, Proposers CAP Theorem Why the move from POW to POS? I am so exited for this, It will be the first physical meetup I have hosted. I have hosted successful virtual meetups, volunteered in successfull physical meetups with over 1000 attendes.(my feet were very tired at the end of the day 😭😭) This is step forward in bringing the world onchain, bringing schools on @base

This week I built: I Hosted our very first meetup of the year at KIRINYAGA UNIVERSITY. I introduced the students to @base and web3 in general,I managed to onboard a few and looking forward to getting an ambassador at the school. Do you know why blockchain developers often start with providers instead of running their own nodes? It can be expensive and complex. Providers like Infura and Alchemy handle that allowing devs to focus on building without the overhead of managing infrastructure. Blockchain data is still in 1's and 0's . It's fetched by computation and served to the internet through servers. That's why it's expensive and you eventually need to pay for the service #blockchain #onchain #base

This week I built. 1. Working on the based buildathon my team and I worked on crowdfunding platform on chain. We were able to integrate smart wallets and and finish up on the UI and the contract. 2. This week I spent my days at Nairobi university where we were learning about @base . It was a 4 days workshops, worth my time and money. I learned so much. We then had several meetings with my team to discuss the perfect solution. I will share a link to my vlog as soon as I upload on zora. I managed to build a smart contact at the same time.💃💃🥳✨
