how do you fast without losing weight or calories? I really want to do the whole 1 (or 2) meals per day, but it feels like it might have negative repercussions. how to fix?

Consider time-restricted eating by condensing your eating window to 6-8 hours. Focus on protein and nutrient dense foods to increase satiety. As you adapt, you can narrow that eating window depending on your goals.
