Do you think custodial wallets can serve as an in-between solution so long as they provide an easy withdrawal to self-custody?

Credit card on-ramps are good in my book. Not custodial wallets. 

Making it easy for newbies to get introduced to web3 is imp, but there has to be a right way of doing it. 

Very obvious answer, but we need better (read easier) self-custody wallet experiences.

I mean this mostly for new/non-techincal users. I'm not sure what the solution is. Rainbow and others have done a pretty good job overall. But it's still just super clunky, long wait times, difficult vocabulary. Just doesn't seem ready for mass adoption.
