Happy Frame Friday! We're excited to announce that we added frames to @bello URLs so you can better understand your onchain audience. You can now paste any @bello URL into Warpcast to analyze Farcaster metrics. The dashboard cohort provides useful insights such as Total Casts, Total Reactions, Percentage of Wallets on Farcaster, and Top Followed Profiles. We launched our first frame! Paste any @bello url into Warpcast to analyze Farcaster metrics. The dashboard cohort provides key Farcaster insights: 🟣 Total Casts 🟣 Total Reactions 🟣 % of wallets on Farcaster 🟣 Top followed profiles During development, we initially aimed to display seven dashboards. Since we built with puppeteer (a headless browser) to screenshot the data directly from Bello, the load speeds for all that data in one frame would have been too slow and impacted user experience. Other challenges we faced early on was building with /frogfm. It required us to rebuild the various screenshots into a single canvas for rendering. This as well as other technical hurdles led us to swap to @frames which resulting in smoother development and customer support s/o @df We decided to start with one key metric, and we'll expand based on your feedback! Love this convo and overall agree! One small correction: Farcaster casts is actually considered “onchain” data since it’s publicly available data that can be indexed by any third party. “Offchain” data would be twitter social data since that’s proprietary data that isn’t shared publicly and is owned by a web2 company that stores the data on their own proprietary servers. Overall agree that the best combo is “offchain” and “onchain” data but it’s more difficult to get “offchain” data because what drives web2 social business models is the fact that they own this dataset that others don’t have. Thats why advertising works really well for web2 businesses because it’s the proprietary data that provide value to these web2 companies. Just my two cents 💰
