That is: AI accelerates grade inflation and makes it harder to test skills. So, we might have to replace traditional interviews with externalized paid bounties.

You interview for a job by doing a micro-job.

This is playing out as we speak. 

Previously I've heard friends complaining about companies making them complete 'unpaid tasks' during interviews.

Recently these have been replaced by 'paid tasks' with proportional rewards.

This is better because teams can now build enough conviction on a potential hire before offering a full time position and the candidate is compensated for their time working on the micro-job.

Honestly in the arts I've never been okay with spec work, but I'm perfectly happy to do a freelance trial if it's paid fairly.
