I made a point on Spaces today that Farcaster isn’t competing with Twitter, rather it’s a play for your “second” social network. A lot of people spend more time on Twitter, but then go to Discord, Reddit, or Telegram for more focused conversation.

In a perfect world, and with a lot of abstraction work, this could in fact compete with Twitter.

Eliminating bots; Eliminating the dupes of your own account; Eliminating the data leaks; etc. becomes super desirable once the UI/UX is cleared… and it’s damn close already.
